Hey freelancers.

🗣 Hey freelancers. We strive to be fully decentralized platform where our users have full control of their own accounts and hopefully down the road - of the whole platform. However, without centralized authority and verification process that often comes with it, it's harder to weed out scammy employers. I am sure you have already noticed some patterns in their behaviour, but this is generally how they look and sound: 1. They try to look and sound innocent; a pic of an old guy searching for website for his wife, young man with a dog, middle aged mom-like woman with a 50s hairdo,... Try running their profile pic through Google Images. 2. Their English tends to be bad. Chat with them a bit, if the job ad is perfectly written but you noticed their English is bad, it's most likely a scam. 3. They overpromise, whether it's a job that pays a little "too well", or a job ad that promises "a lot of work if you do this well". Latter doesn't have to be a sign of a scammer but take into consideration all other factors too. 4. They ask you for money or information in advance. No serious employer will ever ask you for money, document pics, or crypto address before you've even gotten the job. Always keep communication on the platform so we could jump in if necessary. If you prefer getting paid in crypto, ask employer to secure your payment by depositing escrow. If you notice a scammer on CryptoTask, immediately let us know. Stay safe. ✌️
